Tributes to Yasa Rizvi

The sudden and sad demise of Janab Yasa Rizvi has created a great vaccum in intellectual circles. His forceful and versatile personality has always been an inspiring source of strength to all those who work for truth and righteousness. Yasa Rizvi was not a personality but a revolution and a mission in himself. Any organisation that was organized on the basis of progressive elements found him as its natural member.


Yasa Rizvi was a living example of Lucknawi culture in which a character with antiquity and modern thoughts was always present in living. His association with Tanzeem Ali Congress was not because of being its founding member but aware of Islamic teachings and a true foolower of Prophet pbu and his progeney would have done in these circumstances. He made only truth and righteousness as criterion for his actions and did not care about his personal relations or family associations when a critical situation demanded his stand.


Yasa Rizvi always stood for unity and never favoured schism in any form.


His uncompromising attitude towrds embezzlement in Auqaf incurred anger and severe spriritual persecution from corrupt clergy and its agents but this could not deviate him from right path.


Yasa Rizvi was pioneering figure of enlightenment in society and he will be remembered as such.
